She previously served as the Director of Admissions & International Programs at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Brandy believes that higher education is the solution to improving socio-economic inequities and is passionate well-nigh the UMA public wangle mission. Brandy earned a BS and MA in Political Science, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M University. She moreover holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Lori Bigelow Title: Admissions Counselor Phone: 207.262.7804 Email: lori.bigelow@maine.edu Recruitment Territory: Bangor and Northern Maine Lori is an Alumna of University of Maine at Augusta having earned a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Human Services. She is a currently peekaboo the University of Maine in Orono for a Master of Science in Social Work. Lori is one of UMA’s main recruiters based out of our Bangor Campus, visiting upper schools in the northern and eastern regions of the state as well as peekaboo higher fairs representing UMA. Jeremy Bouford Title: Admissions Counselor Phone: 207.621.3062 Email: jeremy.bouford@maine.edu Recruitment Territory: Central and Eastern Maine Jeremy is currently an undergraduate student at UMA. Though Jeremy was a biology major for three years, he recently switched programs to well-constructed a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with a minor in Biology. His intentions for doing this was considering Jeremy discovered a passion for higher education. Once finishing his undergraduate degree, Jeremy plans to enroll in a Master’s stratum in Higher Education. Specifically, Jeremy would like to focus on Adult Learning. Currently, Jeremy and his husband reside in Augusta where they are both voracious gardeners and profoundly enjoy all things outdoors. They often “get away” for camping trips, hiking adventures, and ice fishing excursions. Ariel Cassista Title: Manager of Customer Relationship Management Operations Phone: 207.621.3350 Email: ariel.cassista@maine.edu Ariel has worked at UMA supporting the Admissions Department in various capacities since 2007. She currently manages the prospective student database, digital communications, and text messaging operations. Ariel enjoys leveraging technology to not only make her team’s jobs increasingly efficient but to make the Admissions process as accessible, seamless and well-spoken as possible for prospective students. In addition, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor’sStratumin Liberal Studies. A “typical” non-traditional student, Ariel prides herself in working full time while maintaining a 4.0 GPA as a part-time student. Ariel grew up tastefulness and showing her champion German Shepherds all over the United States. She has exhibited at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on several occasions, and one of her dogs was featured in Martha Stewart Magazine. Joan Goodwin Title: Academic Records Specialist Phone: 207.262.7809 Email: jstewart@maine.edu Joan is the primary point of contact for Enrollment Services at UMA Bangor. She enjoys helping students by phone and in person with admissions, billing and financial aid questions. Morgan Huckey Title: Admissions Counselor Phone:207.621.3075 Email: morgan.huckey@maine.edu Recruitment Territory: Western Maine Morgan is a recent graduate of Arkansas Tech University having earned a Master of Science inHigherStudent Personnel. She is an alumna of the University of Southern Maine where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. Morgan is one of UMA’s main recruiters, visiting upper schools in the southern region of the state and peekaboo higher fairs representing UMA. She works with prospective students and applicants to help them navigate each step of their admissions process. Further, Morgan supervises UMA’s Student Ambassadors. These unrenowned students are on scholarship and represent the university through recruiting outreach and admissions office work. As a Mainer, Morgan is glad to be when and to have the opportunity to get students unfluctuating to UMA. Leo Labranche Title: Enrollment Specialist Phone: 207.621.3581 Email: leo.labranche@maine.edu Leo is an Alumnus of the University of Maine at Augusta and can be found at the front sedentary in the Office of Admissions. He enjoys profitable students with the using process, enrolling in courses, and providing information regarding the many stratum programs offered at UMA. Leo has lived in Augusta all his life and has been a workbench member of the Augusta Downtown Alliance since 2015. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, and playing tennis. He is an Alumnus of LasellHigherin Newton, Massachusetts where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and Southern Maine CommunityHigherwhere he earned an A.A.S in Communications and New Media.  Nathan is based in southern Maine, at UMA Saco Center. Gail Pelletier Title: Enrollment Services Admissions Coordinator Phone: 207.621.3528 Email: gailpell@maine.edu Gail is a recent UMA graduate who enjoys reviewing applications and meeting with applicants and prospective students. She develops and coordinates activities designed to squire individuals and groups with admissions and enrollment steps. Gail has oversight of UMA’s yearly Guidance Counselor Luncheon and Open House events held on the Augusta campus. She moreover visits local upper schools and attends recruiting events throughout Maine. Katherine Trask Title: Associate Director of Enrollment and Admissions Phone: 207.621.3140 Email: trask@maine.edu Kathy has worked at UMA since 1980 where she started as the Secretary in the Admissions Office and is now the Associate Director of Admissions. Not only has she worked with potential and current students over the years, she graduated from UMA with an AS in Criminal Justice and a BA in Social Sciences. She unfurled her education with USM for a Master in Adult and Higher Education degree. Kathy works with all students, including international, and has a solid knowledge of UMA and all of its offerings.
